Ahem, Do Re Mi… Just warming up for the next installment of my forty before forty list. In addition to my desire to perform on stage like a pro, I want to sound good doing it! To that end, before I hit the big 4-0h I’d like to take some singing lessons. I’ve been a secret singer for a while now. You know the kind who only sings when no one is really around. Or sings really low when others are around. Yep, that’s me. I perform full-on concerts in my car though. They are awesome, I’m sure of it. I think taking a singing lesson or two could be a bit of a confidence booster for me. That is, of course, if the teacher isn’t like “lady, you suck!”. That would, you know, suck. Let me be clear, I don’t really expect to belt one out on stage but couldn’t hurt to be ready should the moment present itself. 🙂

I always wished I could sing too!
I’ve always had roommates who could sing REALLY well…and. Well. I don’t. But I’ve always wanted to!
i’ll see what i can muster. Mental note to self: this could be embarrassing!
Go for it! I will follow you through networked blogs.
And if I had Skype hooked up to the big MAC I could give you a voice lesson via internet. Best advice I can give you is no scooping and the aaaah on the high notes.
