Growing up, I was not a fan of seeing commercials for back to school. It wasn’t that I didn’t like school and I absolutely loved getting new clothes. It was that back to school meant the end of summer! No more sleeping in. No more hot days. No more staying out a wee bit later because it was darker later. The end of freedom!
Now that I’m a mom, I finally get to enjoy back to school! My son is in day care so he’s in school year round. This year is different though. He’s moving to the pre-school class and this is his first real week of school! So a few weeks ago, mommy just HAD to do a little shopping for him. I do a lot of my shopping for him at the Children’s Place. They always have a good sale plus their stuff seems to really suit tall toddlers (like mine). My tiny sidekick rolled with me.
And woke up just in time to make sure I hooked her up too.
There are way too many cute things for girls!
I can’t wait to see my little pumpkin in these!
Since my little guy is becoming a big boy, I thought this backpack was appropriate. Plus, he loves soccer. Win-win.
I also picked up some big boy school clothes for him.
Baby sister got in on the act with a few new pieces. It’s only fair, she’ll be starting school this fall too! There were so many cute things to choose from in the new “babyPlace”. The new line includes clothes from the baby stages on up to 5T!
While he’s going to be so handsome in his new looks baby sister will be the talk of the baby room too. Looking forward to a very stylish new school year.
You can find the Children’s Place on Twitter and Facebook.

Cam why is she so stinking cute! Like a little baby doll! I wanna snuggle her!
Jas has to wear uniforms at her new school so I won’t have to buy many new cloths. I guess that’s a blessing lol

I’m not a huge fan of the childrens place. I find that all of their clothes are the same- maybe its just the stores by me.

I think my husband is happy we don’t have a girl just because he’s saving a ton of money on the clothes I’m not buying! 😉

Omg she is too cute!!
Just browsing after a long days work. Boys are easy…well except when HIS shoe size and the price switches to MEN. You may want to take a tissue for your tears! Girls, on the other hand, require MUCH more. My daughter, now 13, is miss hair and accessories…(a bona fide fashion designer too..website noted)Let’s see…you will be forever purchasing hair accessories, all things jewelry (genuine and costume), nail polish, stockings, shoes for every outfit, lip gloss, taking regular trips to the hairdresser…well, to name a few 🙂
Enjoy being a mommy of two…boy and girl..it’s the best of both worlds 🙂
She is so very pretty. I know she’s going to be taking advantage of all the pretty girl cloths out there. I love shopping at children’s place for Zee.
