When you are invited to spend the afternoon at a private residence in Beverly Hills… you go!
That was the case recently when I got an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. I was invited to a Target Beauty event hosted in Beverly Hills. I have no idea who owned the home where the event took place but I saw at least three Hollywood Tour buses stop by. Who knows?
There are lots of new skin care brands hitting the shelves at Target and they invited the press to check out the goods first hand. I have to say, it was a good time!
The scene was definitely set with beautiful decor that made me feel like I was on vacation.
As I walked from station to station, I talked to each beauty concierge about my skin concerns and got some products to help me address them. Did you know there are beauty concierges in many Target stores? These ladies are trained by the beauty companies themselves and they are there at Target stores to offer real knowledge based advice for your beauty concerns. Very cool!
There were several brands featured at this event. I received products from a few of them to sample. I’ll let you all know how they work for me.
One of the brands is by Lydia Mondavi of the Mondavi Winery. She was there and gave some tips on using her products. Below is a picture I snapped with her. In the middle is fellow blogger Stephanie. I met her at the event as well.

The skin care products ranged from natural and organic to others straight from the doctors office. All of it GOOD. STUFF. I can’t wait to try them – especially the anti-aging stuff. Ahem!
