I’m back and I’m sleepy! We got back in the wee hours Sunday morning and I am still tired! We went back to work and and baby went to school on Monday and I am more than happy that I wasn’t super busy. Not sure I could have handled it! Our travels went lovely! We took the red eye to and from Michigan. Little man slept on the way and slept most of the way back. He was a good, happy, friendly baby.
Mommy and daddy are VERY happy that all went well! I asked for tips for traveling with the little man before we left. You all left some great ideas. Jessica at My Time as Mom referred me to Tonya from Letters for Lucas and she offered some great tips as well. Tonya was so inspired that she even did a post about it. Bookmark it – you’ll need it!
Our trip went really well, we had a great time hanging out with family and friends. My parents had a cookout and much of my family from other parts of Michigan made the trip to hang out with us. My parents were able to bond with their grandson and I’m pretty sure they’re still floating on a cloud. We didn’t get to do nearly everything we wanted to do but those are the brakes when most of your family hasn’t seen you in three years. I’m happy to be back and I’ll be trying to catch up with what you all have been up to!
I don’t have much time to get settled in here. It’s Blogher week!
I’m going for the first time and I’m not sure what to feel. I’m excited, nervous and not sure what to expect but I’m going! I’ll be there and ready for whatever. I’ve heard great things about this conference and I’ve heard things that make it seem more than a little intimidating. Whatever the case, I’m ready to take it all in. Will I see you there?
