If I had a little girl… I’m guessing I wouldn’t let her wear this. It could be the way this little girl is posing but something in me screams “NO”. I’m sure she’s a sweet, adorable little girl. I’m sure someone told her to pose that way. Maybe she was just having fun and doing what she thought a “model” should do. That could very well be the case. I could just be really old school because I really believe a kid should be a kid. This is not news to anyone who knows me. I wish someone would have told “Alisa” (that’s what I’m going to call the little girl pictured above) to just say “cheese” or something. Maybe surround her with other kid attire? Toys, perhaps? My other issue with this is that it just seems like it was made for a grown woman and then shrunken to fit a kid. That may work when dealing with jeans and tank tops but with this – no ma’am. Why wasn’t I consulted before this picture was taken? I think that is the bigger question. I totally should have styled this shoot! Hmph!
OMG, I can see my little girl wanting to pose like this. She likes to pull the collar of her dress down over her shoulders, makes faces in the mirror, etc. She is 5. Ugh. What am I going to do?? All girls boarding school for sure.
sounds like you have a mini-model on your hands! 🙂
I would be FREAKING out if this was my child — who lets thier child pose this way? Who is ok with this? I have to constantly watch my oldest; somehow she makes an innocent outfit look not so innocent. So we take notice and are careful. This is just irresponsible. And you wouldn’t want your son dating a girl like this!
I was that kid. Being super tall it was very easy for things to look not so innocent. It was a constant struggle for my mom. If I have a girl – oh boy… trouble!
