First, let me say YAY me for having a post every day this week! Woot woot! **Patting myself on the back**
Over the past week, I have seen many things that I feel like are a must have for me at this point. Maybe I can make one or two of these things a Christmas gift to myself? Maybe.
I have been kind of a nut about all things leop0ard print for a while. I have some cute leopard flats with a patent leather toe that I have worn out. Lately, I have seen a couple things in my favorite animal print that would look real good in my closet. Hmmm…
First, these jeans. I kinda love them. Can you see me showing up at the playground with these on! HA! Whatever. I’m going to get my style on when I can! LOL!
I found these at Victoria’s Secret. I have been shopping there for years. I used to work for the catalog years ago as a fashion consultant and got hooked on their stuff. I shop there for everything. For me, their clothes fit really well. They’re the only place I shop where I don’t have to worry about legs or sleeves being long enough. That makes them a WINNER!
I have been talking about leopard print booties for a while now. I just haven’t found any that I love. If I do, they’re not in my size. Then I found these. They’re by Aerin Portledge. They’re over three hundred dollars. So, there’s that. I’ll continue to stare at them because I don’t think they’ll be stepping into my closet.
Not too long ago, I mentioned wanting to try a two strand twist out on my hair. So, I did. I was going to post about it. My good sense took over and I didn’t take any pictures. I started out like this:
I want to try to rock a Bantu knot out like Bernetta. She has mastered this whole natural hair thing. I’m having a little bit of hair envy.
That’s what I’m feeling this Friday. What are you feeling? Are you hitting the sales today?
I almost woke my baby up from his nap when I saw the bit about the two strand twist. I’m not hitting the sales Friday. Waiting for cyber Monday.
Those leopard booties are pretty much perfect! I’ve been looking for a pair without a sky high heel!

The boots are cute but steep. 🙂 LOL at this visual description of how your hair turned out. You’ll get it right next time.
Yea, mastering the natural hair thing when it comes to rocking curly dos is hard. I’ve been trying to avoid straightening my hair with heat but haven’t had any luck with these bantu knots or twistouts either. Love the jeans and booties.

LOL re: the twist-outs. Mine look a bit like that too, so I revert to my fro.
I like leopard prints in very small amounts. accessories, for example are fine. I’m short, so too much of it would be a tad overwhelming.
I avoided the stores today like the plague! I can’t with the crowds and cold and all that jazz. Now Cyber Monday… I’m all about shopping from the comfort of my laptop!

Girl, I’m totally with you on the hair situation. I cut a lot of my hair off just last night, and since I haven’t had a relaxer in about 3 months, it’s all over the place and I just don’t know what to do with it. I miss by ponytail already!

I’m trying to work with it. The wash and go is the only thing I’ve mastered so far!
Yes, Bernetta has managed to perfect that Bantu Knot Out. I have to do mine with my hair semi wet or else….
I love those boots but at that price I agree with you. I love Victoria Secret clothing as well. I find it affordable and the quality is nice. I just don’t like online shopping. When I pay for my stuff I want it in my hand.
