This week I have seen many things that have made my jaw drop and my eyes water. My job today is to share those things with you. Sharing is caring, right?
I was flipping through a recent issue of Lucky Magazine and saw some shoes I feel in love with. They looked like the Manolo Blahnik’s mary jane I remembered from Sex and the City. I checked the description and it said SJP. As in Sarah Jessica Parker! What thee eff?
I had no idea one of my favorite fashionistas was coming out with her very own shoe line. It makes perfect sense though. It’s been said that SJP has a shoe collection that rivals that of her former character, Carrie Bradshaw. The line will be sold exclusively at Nordstrom’s. It launches February 28th. SJP will be making a stop in L.A. this March to introduce her line in person. I may need to make my way over there to check her out. I don’t know that I’ll be making a purchase though. The shoes I saw in Lucky Mag were $365. The shoes range in price from $195 t0 $485. Check out the full collection here.
I was reading Mrs. Pancake’s blog and saw this story that had me crying. It was happy tears, sad tears, sweet tears. All of that. All I’ll say is there is nothing like the love between a father and daughter. This man got married and had a child. Not too long after he lost his wife to lung cancer. On their wedding day, they took pictures in various spots in their home. He moved out after her death. Before he moved, he re-created the pictures he and his wife had taken – with their little girl. Please check it out!
Keeping the daddy/daughter love going… I saw this video on Facebook and HAD to share! It’s a daddy/daughter dance at a wedding. When I watched this video, I couldn’t help but to think of the awesome relationship this dad must have with his daughter. It kinda made me teary – in a great way!
That’s what I’m feeling this Friday. What are you feeling? What’s got you crying, smiling and feeling good!?
Love that wedding omg I wish I had a dad that was that cool. I hope my daughter appreciates her dad when she grows up nothing like that bond.

Oh my goodness! It is too early for me to be crying! LOL! Those father-daughter photos got me. It’s so touching that he would even think to recreate the photos he took with his wife. And just when I thought I could get myself together, I watched the father-daughter dance. That one had me both laughing and crying. Thank you for sharing. Happy Friday!
Those father daughter pictures are the sweetest thing ever! They made me smile so hard!
My dad would dance with me like that at my wedding lol

I always thought that SJP was as into fashion as her character, Carrie! And oh that father daughter thing. Made me WEEP. As I wrote on the Mrs. Pancakes blog, I’m a photographer and a parent and a former child who lost a parent, so it hits me in every way.

Well go ahead SJP. I doubt that I’ll be buying, but what took her so long anyway. It’s only naturally that a style maven like herself have a shoe and/or clothing line. Here here on the bond between daughter and father. I love the relationship between my baby and her daddy. It is precious.
