Just yesterday, I considered having a sale or at the very least, giving away some stuff. You see, under my bathroom sink lives way too many hair products. Since letting my natural curls flow, I have been in a “buy it and try it” mode that I’m sure has cost me a small fortune. It’s no easy feat to tame these curls.
Silly me, I found the right combination. Then I tried something else thinking maybe this would work even better. It didn’t. And now I don’t remember my right combo mix. That’s the story behind all of my products. Still trying to find that Eureka moment with my hair. Ugh.
One thing that really has been bugging me about my mane is how quickly it sucks up water. My hair is like a sponge. Freshly shampooed and it still feels mostly dry. One thing has finally changed that!
I was given the opportunity to try Insta Natural’s Superior Hydration Argan Oil Hair Mask. It changed something in my hair, in a good way. The “superior hydration” is real!
It comes in a small tub and smells delightful. It’s about the consistency of a good body lotion.
I’ve used it a couple of times on my hair. The directions say to apply to freshly washed hair and leave on for about 15 minutes. I dutifully popped my cap on and let the good stuff soak in.
Once I rinsed it out, my hair was soft AND it still felt wet. It’s like it sucked the moisture right on in. That hasn’t happened in a LONG time. It definitely made for easier styling with my wash and go. I plan to keep this in the rotation. My hair NEEDS the moisture!
Have you tried a hair mask? What’s your go to hair product?

You’re beautiful, and I love seeing natural insta pics 🙂 I use argon oil, but not for my hair, rather I use it on my face.

Your curls are beautiful. I notice I’m starting to get quite a collection of hair products underneath my sink as well. Especially now that my natural hair is coming through since I plan to not dye it any longer.

My hair NEEDS a hair mask, thanks for the reminder! It is so dry because I color and high light it so much!

Sounds like something I could use. My hair is dry and frizzy all winter long. Makes me crazy, but I’ve yet to find anything that works. Thanks for sharing.

I have to try this STAT! My hair is dull and dry from the winter cold and dying it. Running out today to pick this up 🙂
Oh I have to get my hands on this stat. Your hair looks really good. The curls are all defined. That’s what I’m looking for. I can’t wait to try this for myself.
I absolutely love aragan oil! It really is a super moisturizer for my hair as well! I’ll have to look for this mask now.
I haven’t tried this product yet. I think we all could use a bit of tame the mane every now and then though! Sounds like a great brand!
You are styling in that hair cap! 😉 I have one just like it. I have naturally curly hair and it’s naturally dry on the ends and oily on my scalp. I use an oil product called Biosilk which helps to give it moisture so it doesn’t frizz. It also works out well when I want to do a blow out. I also use shaping milk by Tresseme for the curly days. Lastly, my cap treatments include a product called Hair Mayonnaise. It smells wonderful. I have heard Argan Oil is top notch. I might have to try it when my other bottles are empty.

I have shampoo with argan oil in it and I really like it. I don’t know if it’s newly trendy, but I have just begun to hear about it quite a bit recently.

I have never tried a hair mask. My hair is thin and fine so I am always afraid that a hair mask will leave my hair greasy.
I love your curly hair! That product seems to work well
Ooh I bet that stuff is awesome. At times my hair can get super dry too.

I have never used a hair mask and would like yo try this product for my natural hair.
Ah… I’m actually trying to stop manipulating my hair so much myself. So far, I’ve done a regular twist out; without stretching it and retwisting it every night. Next I want to try and get my wash and go down pact. I never thought to try some of these hair marks I have. Sounds like Insta Natural is Install good…lol…I’d love to try it, but I’m first going to start with one of the ones I have. Thanks for the review and inspiration!!
