I told you that I would be clearing out some things to try and get rid of stuff that may be taking up space in my house and my life. I started in my closet. One thing that had to go was an old jewelry box. My husband called it a granny jewelry box. He’s so sweet.
While I was going through all of the old jewelry, some of it turning a lovely shade of green, I found something.
Hiding under some old plastic earrings was a letter. I’d forgotten all about it. It was a letter from a secret admirer in high school. He had taped it to my locker.
Taped on the inside of the letter was a gold heart pendant. I never found out who was behind the letter. I just remember being a young girl who hadn’t yet stepped fully into my confidence and feeling really special. I remember walking around my school trying to guess who the guy might be. I may have given a few folks some hopeful looks. I also remember watching my back. I’m pretty sure this note was taped INSIDE my combination-locked locker. Nevertheless, it was a pretty sweet gesture. What a way to boost a girls confidence a notch or two!

You never found out who it was? Normally they come forward sooner or later. Its scary I had one in college and he actually stalked me I had a real bad experience and to this day its one reason I don’t put many pictures up of me. He took one of my pictures from blackplanet and somehow blended it with his picture to make it look like we took a pic together. Back then I didn’t know much about photoshop but I guess thats what he used. Its cute but dangerous at the same time.

I think it is sweet. I remember I left a note for a boy once, he was in the 5th grade and I was in 3rd. I was too embarrassed to say anything. However, it could definitely become creepy too
Never had a secret admirer but I have had PLENTY of letters end up in my possession. None as sweet as that one! So not creepy. A tender sign of affection that is totally OK in my book! Your lip gloss must of been POPPIN that day!

This is so sweet! I do remembering having a secret admirer, and not knowing anything about it. He sent me roses for valentine’s day, but I never picked them up because I wasn’t expecting anything. I guess I wasn’t that fun to admire from afar hahaha.

It was sweet. However, I hope whoever it was doesn’t use the same approach now. After high school, this method becomes straight stalker behavior.
