I have been blogging since about 2008. I used to do it just to write. I never promoted a post or expected anyone to leave a comment. Then, I launched this blog. I entered into this blog with a different mindset. I wanted to interact with others. I wanted to be a part of a larger community. With Thanksgiving literally around the corner, I decided to tell you what I’m thankful for when it comes to blogging.
I’m thankful that:
- I have the opportunity to express myself the way I want. I write for a living. Everything I write is up for debate, discussion, dismissal and critique. It’s great to have this space to write from my heart, to be creative when I want and to just let it all hang out.
- I have connected with so many beautiful, wonderful, supportive and inspiring women! Seriously, you ladies rock! To think that I never would have met you if I hadn’t started blogging is awesome! Seriously, like wow!
- I have shared in the lives of others in a way that we feel like we already know each other though we’ve never actually “met”.
- I have met IRL a blogger that has become my friend. Amber and I hit it off right away. Probably because we are nearly the same person. LOL! It’s crazy that it all started by commenting on each others’ blog.
- I have been encouraged and inspired to chase my dreams. I wanted my blog to be a space that encourages and inspires others along the way. That’s why I post quotes here and there. I love to be the cheering section for the dreams of others. I love it when people truly go after their dreams. It seems that’s the only way to live. A little support goes a long way when we step out there and attempt to make the impossible – possible. I couldn’t be more thankful for the people IRL and the virtual peeps who are there to kick me in the butt when I need it and to cheer me on along the way. I’m here to provide the same! I NEVER would have expected to get all of this from blogging.
What are you thankful for when it comes to blogging?
Such a great post! It’s amazing how starting a blog can change your life! 🙂

Blogging is the new way to network and meet people. I have met quite a few myself. Each blogger brings a different tone and I love reading the different types of blogs from mommy to fashion.

Love that! I feel the same way, the thing I love most about it is the connection. I blog for myself, as an outlet, but have made some real friendships in the blogosphere, and met quite a few peeps too.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Cam!

I am thankful that I found the blog world. I am thankful that there are real women out there who actually support people that they do not actually know face-to-face. It is so cool! I am glad I am able to write whatever I want without restrictions. I know if I think it, some other mom out there is thinking about it too.

I love the fact that many of my comments (forthright/candid opinions) are not approved, which means I struck a serious cord…one of my many talents…LoL
I figure, the same old way of thinking needs to be upset sometimes. How else can we grow?
I love the blogosphere!
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

I am so thankful first and foremost for all of the supportive and beautiful women and mothers that I have met and connected with virtually and in real life.
I am also thankful for an outlet to view other people’s views on subjects. Views that often have me thinking and changing my frame of thought on some issues.
I am also thankful that I feel like I know someone in every major city and that when I visit I have “family” to show me around!

I’ve been blogging for almost a year, and I must say, what I’m really thankful for are the friends I’ve made along the way. And of course, your blog is one of those I really enjoy visiting 🙂
I feel blogging has breathed new life into me.
I’m so grateful I meet great bloggers like you. I’m still pretty new to blogging and I love learning from you guys and sharing my experiences. I’m thankful I have people who who stop by and read about me and my fam.
Umm, okay so this is what I get for waiting until almost 10pm to check my G-Reader. In response to your question, I’ll first say that I’m thankful for YOU. Truly. Like, for real. You’re a God send. Literally. And you know I’m NOT kidding! #tears. And second I’ll say, I’m thankful for everything else you wrote because, as you said…we’re the same person. DUH!!!!!!!!! Love u, girl!

I’d have to write a blog post just to answer that, Seriously. Blogging has been a very positive thing in my life. Self-expression.. learning about myself… learning about others… finding encouragement and support & trying to offer the same back through my posts.
