He told me to sit my butt down!
These are the instructions I received from my doctor a few weeks ago. Apparently, baby girl was trying to make her way into this world much too soon. So, the solution was to take me out of work way before I planned to leave.
Can’t do to much walking around and carrying on. I think this might be what you call partial bed rest. I am calling it cabin fever. Whatever it takes though, for my baby girl.
In this process, I’ve discovered that I may have married an angel. My husband has been doing ev-ery-thing. Cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, taking care of our son and our dog. Speaking of our dog, Lola, the diva has been sick too. Most recently, she somehow has a slipped disc in her back and this little chick has been on bed rest too! Thank goodness she’s got decent health insurance. Her being sick had just meant more work for my husband because she’d been sedated and practically helpless.
I have seriously been thinking of searching for a bed rest support group. It’s crazy to one day be fully functioning to being on straight up lock down. I’m not used to not being able to work, cook dinner, clean my house – you get the picture.
You can start forming a prayer circle now because I still have a ways to go.
Oh man, bed rest is no fun. Hang in there!!! I hope your baby lady stays put.

Baby girl, you just stop with all that antsy business and stay with mama for a while, you hear?
I hope you find lots of things to do to ease the boredom!

It sounds so fun and restful ideally, but I am sure it drives you crazy to have to hold still so much and watch other people have to do for you. Hang in there. Big kiss to you & baby girl.

I will be praying for you and your family. I only experience that one time in my life after having major surgery and I read books and watched tv. For a person like you and I it is hard. Maybe do some photo projects.
Awww I hope your baby girl stays snuggled in tight!

You got that right — anything for baby girl! I can’t imagine being on bed rest. I’m so active that I think I might go insane or something. LOL.

I’m forming a prayer circle by myself for you… LOL! I was on bed rest for 5 months with the twins. I could only leave the bed to go to the bathroom. It was not fun at all. That’s actually how I started blogging. Bored out of my mind searching for an outlet.
Get your rest and time will pass quickly!
Hugs and Mocha,
Stesha

I went crazy being on bed rest. But at the end of the day, it was the best thing for baby and me.

Relax and rest as much as you can. Nine months ago before my daughter was born, I didn’t rest at all. When she was born, all I wanted was some rest. Rest up and sending prayers your way!!

This is not a good news girl. Bed rest makes me bored yet for the sake of my beloved angel I must do it. I wish you can have a pretty bed rest time.

It really ain’t easy to just sit and laze around. But hey, it’s for you and your baby. It was sweet of your husband to do all the work at home.
You must need to take care always of your health baby. So, take a long rest.

Even though bed rest is so boring but as long as you want to have a baby, you can survive on it.
