This is Southern California. This is Fall. In the ten years I’ve lived here, I’ve learned that a Southern California Fall/Winter means that leaves will fall, darkness comes early and instead of snow – we get rain…lots of rain. So instead of snow boots, we rock wellies!
I was never a fan of these kicks growing up. I guess being from Michigan, I didn’t see the point. Then again, maybe, just maybe I didn’t know how cool they really were. Whatever the case, I’m kind of loving them now. I wan them in lots of different fun colors and prints. They’re perfect for the kind of days we’ve been having. You know the kind that makes you wear your hair in a bun to avoid a frizz fest and accidental afro on your head?
The kind where it rains so much, you just suck it up, get used to the rain and choose to smile through it.
Yeah, those are the kinds of days we’ve been having around here and these wellies have been coming in handy.
*In my Al Roker voice* How’s the weather in your neck of the woods?
I’m linking up with the Monday Mingle this week. It’s been a while!

You’re so beautiful and I love your boots! It’s been kind of sunny but windy here. It’s cold enough for boots but not too cold for a heavy jacket, or at least that’s what the weather’s been for these past two days. I need another pair of boots. They are the best accessory of the fall!
boots are always my favorite fall accessory!
Love it Nice Shot, you looks really gorgeous in here…
