The weather has cooled down a bit around these parts. I know, temperatures in the 60s are nothing to complain about. So, I won’t. In any case, we made our way out this weekend to check out a potential elementary school for the boy. It’s an interesting mix of the kids being in school two days a week and being home schooled three days a week. I’m not sure that mix is for me. Their program sounded really good but I know my son is a five day a week kid. When we switched him from day care to his current school, we chose to do three days a week to transition him in. On the days that he was home, he would come to me and say, “why do I NEVER go to school? I wanna learn Mommy!” At that point we moved right back to five days a week. The kid loves school. I am not mad at that.
After we left the informational about the school we stopped for lunch and met this dude… 🙂
On Sunday, we made our way to the Getty museum. Their family room is pretty fun and really interactive. That was definitely the favorite part for the kids.
After a couple of t-shirt and jeans days, I was trying to be in mommy chic mode.

I’m gonna need those flats in my life!
That’s such a cool concept — home school for part of the week and be in a school building for the rest of the week. Don’t think we have something like that in NYC, but I wouldn’t utilize it anyhow.
Looks like you guys had a fun weekend!
xoxo
that clown. . . hella creepy!
